VetBizCentral is a non-profit created under Public Law 106-50 provisions and the Veterans Business Development and Entrepreneurship Act of 1999. The agency serves Military Personnel, Veterans, Guard and Reserve members, and their families. Services provided by VetBizCentral are free. Please have a look at our website for a schedule of classes and events. Entrepreneurship training courses and other classes related to small business development are conducted at sites throughout the region. Counseling is available at our headquarters in Flint via telephone, e-mail, or by appointment.

The Veterans Business Outreach Center (VBOC) program is a one-stop shop for transitioning service members, veterans, and military spouses looking to start, purchase, or grow a business.

Business Consulting

Our business consultations include developing plans, financial projections, buying or selling, and expansion. We assist with managing finances, finding capital, growth strategies, government contracts, and certifications.

Training & Events

VBOC Region 10 provides training through workshops and webinars on business planning, financing, marketing, and human resources. We are here to support your business needs.

Boots to Business

Boots to Business is the entrepreneurship track of the Department of Defense’s Transitions Assistance Program offered on military installations worldwide.

Boots to Business Reboot

Boots to Business Reboot is an extension of Boots to Business, delivering the same information and benefits to veterans, members of the National Guard and Reserves, and military spouses in a more accessible format.
